Michael Bisping's next fight, which happens to be a grudge match against former Strikeforce champion Luke Rockhold, has gotten more heated, as both fighters promise convincing finishes.

Michael Bisping's next fight against Luke Rockhold is scheduled for UFC Fight Night 55 on November 8th at the Allphones Arena in Sydney, Australia. But with still weeks away until fight night, the apparent grudge match between both men has gotten more heated.

As early as August, specifically after Bisping's fight against Cung Le in Macau, both fighters have already been trading barbs. In a previous interview with MMA Junkie, Rockhold accused "The Count" of being overpaid.

"I've got a wager," Rockhold said. "Bisping is grossly overpaid, comparably to where we are. So, I bet Michael Bisping, if I don't finish you in the first round, you can have my purse. But if I do finish you in the first round, you give me your purse."

Bisping did offer his reply soon after.

"I get under (Rockhold's) skin and I tell you what, I get such a kick out of it 'cause I just know his blood is boiling, and I love it," Bisping told Submission Radio. "I'm loving this. The icing on the cake is that I get to punch him."

During the UFC Ultimate Insider's Counterpunch segment with host Jon Anik, both men had more words to say to each other. Michael Bisping's next fight is just two weeks away.

In the show, "The Count" brought up a previous encounter he had with Rockhold wherein he proclaimed himself to be "The Unofficial Strikeforce Champion." And for the brash Brit, his opponent was still offended about the said remark.

"He's so upset about it," Bisping claimed. "He just won't shut up. Continually calling me out, so I returned the favor. I'm certainly not scared of the guy like he seems to insinuate all the time."

To end the conversation, both fighters promised not only victories from their respective ends, but finishes done in convincing fashion as well.

"I'm going to beat him to the punch, and I'm going to beat him to the kick," Bisping said.

"I will stop Michael Bisping and there's a number of ways it's going to be done," Rockhold said in turn. "I'm not really looking to take him down. Definitely not a submission, that's not punishment enough for this guy."
