Lindsay Lohan news reported that an alleged stalker was slammed with assault and harassment charges by the "Speed The Plow" star. According to the news reported by LocalSYR.com , the obsessed fan thinks he and the actress are married.
The harassment charges filed against alleged stalker Daniel Vorderwulbecke was due to him supposedly sending more than 1000 text and social media messages to the "Mean Girls" lead. The 37-year-old also reportedly assaulted a security guard outside the London Playhouse Theater, where the David Mamet West End production is staged.
After the hearing was held at London's Westminster Magistrates' Court last week, the alleged stalker was released on bail and ordered to go to a specialist mental health hospital. This was after prosecutors discovered that the fan thinks he and Lindsay Lohan are "married".
While Daniel Vorderwulbecke has been prohibited from visiting Lindsay Lohan, a recent report from E!Online said Oprah Winfrey went all the way to London recently to watch "Speed The Plow."
The said play is the West End debut of the former child star.
Oprah Winfrey posted a photo with Lindsay Lohan and captioned it: "@LindsayLohan backstage at her new play in London. #SpeedthePlow."
The 28-year-old actress took to social media to share how happy it made her to have Oprah Winfrey watch her play. Actress Lupita Nyongo was also present.
Lindsay Lohan said: "So thrilled to have @Oprah and @Lupita_Nyongo in the audience tonight. I'm a lucky girl! XXo #Myfairygodmother."
Lindsay Lohan has not yet addressed news reports about how her West End debut is receiving bad reviews.
According to a review from The New York Daily News, the former "Mean Girls" star "fumbled for words a few times" during the show's first night.
The Lindsay Lohan news narrated in detail: "Looking pale and nervous, Lohan managed to hang on through her small but critical role as Hollywood secretary Karen - but only with the aid of some crew members offstage who shouted lines at her when she blanked on what she was supposed to say."
The New York Daily News added: "(Lindsay Lohan) seemed to rely on a book she clutched as a prop that had some lines from the script scribbled in it."
A similar review was reported by The Daily Beast: "Lindsay Lohan only has one major speech in the David Mamet play that marks her West End debut. Unfortunately, she couldn't remember how it went."
