Good news Marvel fans as another member of the Avengers will likely receive his own solo movie in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to reports from Screenrant, Jeremy Renner's character Hawkeye will likely join the cast of Captain America 3. It was reported before that Hawkeye will die in the Avenger's sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron, but it seems that rumor was debunked and fans will likely see more of Hawkeye in the Marvel Cinematic Universe very soon.

MTV news conducted an interview with Jeremy Renner regarding his participation in Captain America 3 and a possible solo movie for Hawkeye.

During the interview, Renner's answers to MTV was more of a “No, thanks” than a “Yes, please.”

“I’m happy to be the ensemble. I’m not scratching or clawing to do a solo movie by any means,” Renner said. “I think he’s a utility guy that can bounce around into other people’s universes a little bit, especially like ‘Cap 3.’ ”

The website reported before that Marvel Studios have plans for making a Black Widow spin off so there is a possibility that that a Hawkeye solo film will likely surface soon, whether it is part of phase 3 or a possible phase 4 in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Meanwhile, Chris Evans is rumored to direct a Marvel movie.

MTV news conducted an interview with Chris Evans about the plot details of Captain America 3. This is what he said during course of the interview.

“It’s this giant web of plot, where everything is connected to everything else… that’s the beautiful thing,” Evans told MTV News, “and especially for the fanboys who understand these plotlines. With Cap 3, we’re going to continue this excitement.”

MTV also pointed out to Chris that after Avengers 2, Captain America will form a new team. Chris teasingly answered.

“What do I think about this, what can I say about this?” Evans wondered aloud. “You wanna give something!”

“Marvel doesn’t disappoint,” Evans finally said, after much inner conflict. “Whatever you’re hoping for, you’re probably going to get.”

Chris Evans also answered the rumors that his character Steve Rogers will be replaced by either Winter Soldier or Falcon for the mantle of Captain America.

“Who’s handing off the shield? Don’t take my job from me prematurely dude,” Evans said. “I’m sure it’ll happen at some point, all good things have to come to an end. But I’m really happy playing the character.”

Fanshare has reported before that that Chris Evans might step away from role of Steve Rogers after Captain America 3 leaving Anthony Mackie or Sebastian Stan to take on the star-spangled shield.

Comicvine also reported that Chris Evans will leave Marvel Studios after Avengers 3 citing that the character will die and his possible replacement will either Sam Wilson or Buck Barnes a.k.a. Winter Soldier since both of them claimed the mantle in the comics.

Well it looks like these rumors were put rest thanks to Cap himself.

There is also another rumor that Chris will possible direct a Marvel movie.

According to reports from Wall Street Journal, Chris cited his concerns over directing a Marvel movie.

“So me and Mark Kassen, the guy who I brought on this movie, we were just talking like ‘what’s next?’ I want to continue directing and he’s like, ‘What size movie do you want to direct?’ I don’t care. If I read the right script, if that script needs $5 million, if that script needs $50 million, I don’t care. If I read a project that’s beautiful, that I really want to make, whatever it needs, it needs.”

He further adds his statement in an interview with Variety saying;

“I’m looking to pursue directing. In the immediate future, I’m only looking to fulfill my contract with Marvel. If I’m going to act, it will be either in Marvel or something that I’m directing. And somehow, it was twisted into it would either be Marvel or I’m directing, not that I would be directing something I would act in.”
