The "Better Call Saul" trailer shows how promotions should be done as AMC released a preview of the new series. Meanwhile, Dean Morris' Hank Schrader might make an appearance in the "Breaking Bad" spinoff.
The "Better Call Saul" trailer sounds like a bad jingle advertising aimed at gullible people to hire the twisted lawyer's services.
With music from Dave Porter and Adam Dornblum, the video features the "Better Call Saul" trailer features the song of the same title performed by Junior Brown, and features the catchy chorus:
"Saul, Saul, you better call Saul,
He'll fight for your rights when your back's to the wall,
Stick it the Man, Justice for all,
You better call Saul!"
"The preview is more of a music video than a straight-up look at the show's plot points, but Junior Brown's musical contributions are quite enjoyable," said Escapist Magazine.
The magazine said that the song in the "Better Call Saul" trailer also portents of what fans can expect from the show.
"It can't all be meth dealing and money laundering -- Saul will be hard at work undoing the damage of smaller, less ambitious clients, I'm sure -- so we're sure to see more...pedestrian criminals in the mix," it said.
Meanwhile, Hank Schrader, played by Dean Morris, could make an appearance sometime in the "Breaking Bad" spinoff.
Dean Morris, in an interview with Screen Crush, agreed that Hank Schrader's character would be much better off being contained in the "Breaking Bad" universe than showing up again in the "Breaking Bad" spinoff. However, he doesn't dismiss the possibility of a guest appearance.
"I have very conflicted views on 'Better Call Saul,'" he said. "But I think they're going to turn that show into something completely different. And, smartly, it's going to be its own show. And maybe, years down the line, maybe I'll show up on that show. But, I'm afraid."
