Good news Marvel fans as new updates and possible spoilers for the Amazing Spider-Man 3 have been revealed.

It looks like Sony has plans on using the Clone Saga storyline in the Amazing Spider-Man 3 movie, and it was reported before that Peter Parker's father, Richard Parker is rumored to return in the third Spidey movie evidence to the special deleted footage of the Amazing Spider-Man 2 DVD Blu-Ray set.

The scene features Peter Parker in the cemetery visiting Gwen Stacy's grave, when suddenly a man shows up and calls Peter by his first name. As the man begins to talk and explain things to him, to Peter ( and to the audiences) shock and dismay, the man turns out to be his father who has supposedly died on the plane crash at the start of the film.

Now that Richard Parker is alive and well that leaves the question, how did he survived the plane crash? Multiple theories have now began to circle in the internet.

But according to reports from Comic City Central, a blogger from Comic Vine theorized that this Richard Parker could be a clone and that Sony might pitch in a Clone Saga storyline for Amazing Spider-Man 3.

The idea for a Clone Saga storyline came out in a report from Screenrant in which Emma Stone's character Gwen Stacy might come back in the Amazing Spider-Man franchise.

Through several interviews from different movie and internet sites, Emma Stone opened up about her character, her role in Spider-Man's life, and the impact of her death in both the second movie and in the comics. Screenrant uploaded a video of Emma Stone's interview with them as she says it all. Here is the video below.

During the course of the interview, when asked about if this is her last time working with cast and crew of the Amazing Spider-Man. Emma Stone replied by saying.

"I don't know... is it? There could be a-I don't know, there's a whole plotline that could happen that may bring her back"

If Marc Webb, the director of the Amazing Spider-Man movies will ever decide to work on a "Gwen Stacy comeback" story, there could be two possible choices. It's either the Clone Saga in the original Marvel comics or her transformation as Carnage in the Ultimate Marvel universe.

There is already a rumor that Gwen Stacy might return as the symbiote monster Carnage for the Venom Spin-off, while other believed that Gwen will return as a clone or an illusion for Peter Parker reminding him of his failure to rescue her.

Created by Miles Warren a.k.a. the supervillain The Jackal. Apparently Miles Warren had a fetish crush on Gwen, which later turns into borderline obsession after she died. He blames Spider-Man for her death that led him to create several clones of Spidey in order to ruin his life and possibly kill him.

Meanwhile, there are rumors spreading that Spider-Man will crossover to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to reports from Badass Digest, Sony and Marvel are in talks of whether Spidey will join the ranks of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and among others in Avengers 3.

Hitflix further reports that speculation of Spider-Man appearing with the Avengers in the third movie will likely happen.

"While I can't get the confirmations I need to verify the story, I'm hearing that there are some very cool "Spider-Man" plans being discussed that would help Sony refocus their enormously important franchise while also opening up some connections in the onscreen Marvel movie universe that would blow fandom's minds. Will it work out? I don't know. I would love to be able to state for sure that it's happening. What seems clear from what I've heard is that Marvel wants to be able to play with all of their characters, and if they can make that work creatively and on a corporate level, they will, and that means the world gets bigger again."

Spidey wasn't the only one rumored to crossover in MCU. It was reported before that Hugh Jackman wanted his character Wolverine to appear with the Avengers. Could Marvel Studios actually pull Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? A question that is hard to answer given the time and negotiations that Sony and Marvel can discuss regarding the licensed rights of the character, not to mention 20th Century Fox's rights in the X-Men and Fantastic Four characters.
