The favorite zombie-killing photojournalist of Capcom, Frank West, will be depicted by former Daily Show reporter Rob Riggle in live-action and Legendary Dead Rising: Watch Tower Film.
Some would say, "But he's a comedian. What does he know about jamming a Servbot helmet on the undead?" Obviously, Riggle is not the most appealing choice, however, he does have the suitable lantern-jawed impression for the character and he is one of the few front runners who can say that he has actually covered wars and his video game counterpart.
As for Riggle be doing in Dead Rising: Watchtower, is not disclosed yet. The Legendary's unclear summary states the film revolves around zombie outbreak and its survivors and starting to think the government's involvement. The should be a common ground for audiences who had a role in Dead Rising entry, but does nothing to discriminate the film from its adapted material.
Although, there's no date for release yet for the said film, but it will exclusively debut on the Crackle digital video network. The film happens during a great-scale zombie epidemic. When a required government vaccine did not succeed to stop the spread of infections, the four leads should stop infection and continue to get into the cause of the epidemic, with all the symptoms leading to a government conspiracy like media coverage, politics, public paranoia have the valuable role in the film's plot.
Riggle will be joined by other cast like Keegan Connor Tracey (Bates Motel), Jesse Metcalfe, Dennie Haysbert, Virginia Madsen, and Aleks Paunovic (This Means War).
The original Dead Rising game star, Frank West is a tired photojournalist who uncovers a threatening conspiracy at the center of a current viral epidemic that is changing people into flesh-eating zombies. Based on the statement during the casting announcement, a biker character called Pyro, will be played by Morenstein, at the same time, Paunovic plays the biker gang's leader, who will be played by Logan. Jordan, a straight-laced journalist will be played by Tracey.
Although, there is no release date yet, the film will debut on Crackle.com before on Video-On-Demand services.
