Tech News World reported that on Oct. 21, Leeo launched the IPhone Night Light App.
The IPhone Night Light App costs $99. Tech News World further reported that whenever the smoke alarms sound off, the sounds are detected by the IPhone. The smart night light calls the IPhone upon detecting these sounds.
The IPhone Night Light App does its duties from a wall outlet. It doubles as an illuminator and smoke alarm detector, according to Tech News World.
The I Phone Night Light App begins to call the listed contacts on their mobile phones if the users don't respond to the smoke alarm detection calls.
Adam Gettings, Leeo CEO explained the Night Light App's benefits. In an interview with Tech News World, he explained that this app is still considerably beneficial to have than a smoke detecting device:
"I think for a lot of people, anything that requires tools for installation is just extra work."
"The nightlight is something you can plug into an outlet and it takes advantage of what you already have,"
"You've already got smoke detectors that you've trusted for years -- brands that have been around, in some cases, 20 or 30 years -- and there's no reason to replace those if they work just fine."
"The nightlight is a common, old-fashioned object that could not only fit the necessary technology, but could also have permission to live in and be useful to any home.
"The nightlight is a familiar object that provides a commonsense way of delivering comfort and safety, while at the same time it's something that deserves a place in the home in its own right."
