Leann Rimes news reported that the "I Need You" singer has appeared in a "disturbing" promotional video for her upcoming tour. Reviewed by The Hollywood Gossip, the move appears to signal that the former country star is "getting desperate" after her reality show got cancelled for low ratings.
Leann Rimes news recently announced that the Grammy winner wants to make a musical comeback. However, the recently released promotional video featuring "telepathic" elves was described by The Hollywood Gossip as material that is "likely to give you nightmares."
The gossip site also slammed Leann Rimes' husband Eddie Cibrian. When the occasional actor did not appear in the video for a cameo, The Hollywood Gossip laughed off that his singer wife "won't give Eddie an acting job."
Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's marriage has long been under fire, and the country star has addressed the said issues in her latest interview.
In an interview with Huffington Post UK, Leann Rimes news reported that she is tired of people who overlook her music and instead focuses on making a "soap opera" out of her life.
"It's been just one giant soap opera," Leann Rimes told the news publication. "It's great that I sell magazines for these people. It's insane. I don't know how they get away with it.
She explained: "It's sad to say I've got used to people being arseholes. I've built up a thick skin. But my music has been overshadowed. I don't want it to be like that, and I can change it, but I have to create music to do it."
Huffington Post UK recalled how Leann Rimes and Eddie Cibrian's marriage was judged from the beginning since the two allegedly hooked up while they were still married to their former partners. The country singer was then married to actor Dean Sheremet, while Eddie Cibrian was then married to "Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" cast member Brandi Glanville.
Aware that her decisions may have disappointed a lot of people, Leann Rimes defended her and Eddie Cibrian's marriage. "I think that's the story: a little southern girl who grew up," she dismissed.
The singer pointed out: "You make mistakes, you live your life, and somewhere along the way, the myth was shattered, and you didn't even realise there was one to shatter. I try to stand up for myself when I can, when a different spin gets put on everything."
"Only the people who know me know the truth. That's all that matters to me," Leann Rimes said.
