There have been rumors that the "Entourage" movie will be released earlier and it was hinted by producer Mark Wahlberg. He told Access Hollywood, "I don't think we're going to be able to wait a year to release the movie. We're going to show the studio sooner, rather than later." He added, "If it makes most sense to wait until June, we'll wait until June."

The 43-year old actor/producer also expressed how proud he was of the cast and director: "The stakes are so big. You're rooting for these guys to succeed. There's so much humor and heart in it. And [director] Doug [Ellin] just did an amazing job."

The film adaptation of the popular HBO series is slated to hit the theaters on June 12. But new reports revealed that the release date was moved a week earlier. According to Deadline, "Warner Bros. has moved up the release date for the Entourage movie by a week to June 5."

Instead of going up against Universal's "Jurassic World", it will now go head to head with DreamWorks' animated film "B.O.O.: Bureau Of Otherworldly Operations". Did they get scared of competing with Colin Trevorrow's mega dinosaur movie in the box office?

I think the producers did the right thing because "Jurassic World" is a huge movie. Even if the movies have a different target audience, there's still a possibility that the "Entourage" fans would still watch the fourth installment of "Jurassic Park". And if they're only given a chance to watch one movie for that week, some may have to sacrifice Doug Ellin's comedy flick for the big-budget adventure thriller.

Adrian Grenier, who stars as Vincent Chase in the "Entourage" movie, recently revealed that the film will be shown in June, but he never gave any definite date. He didn't give a hint that it was moved earlier that's why many people thought that it will still be shown on June 12.

The 38-year old actor told HuffPost Live, "We turned it around so quickly. It was amazing actually. I've never been part of a film that came together that fast. We shot it in six weeks, they edited it in a month and a half or two months, and now it's done."

Grenier added, "It's been tested. People love it. And now we're just waiting for June." The producers also made the announcement on Facebook. They posted behind-the-scenes photos of the "Entourage" movie and captioned it "June 5 it is! #EntourageMovie #Happy"
