Chris Brown has been dating Karrueche Tran for five turbulent years, and rumors have been circulating that the "X" singer and his longtime girlfriend could be joining VH1's reality show "Couples Therapy."
According to a report from Hollywood Life, the petite model is looking for ways to better her relationship with the controversial R&B star.
"She wants him to go to couples therapy with her, but not in an office," an insider revealed.
The source explained: "One of the things she hates most in life is fighting with Chris. It's pointless and it tears them apart for week and even months. She's tired of the fighting and the ups and downs and wants things to be smooth with them."
The report from Hollywood Life detailed Chris Brown dating Karrueche Tran: "She's asking him to find the time between all his obligations to take a few days, just the two of them, and go to an island somewhere."
"It could be the Caribbean. Mexico. Hawaii. Anywhere. She thinks a little time alone with the two of them would be what he needs and she'll take care of all the therapy he needs," the source added.
Chris Brown is still dating Karrueche Tran amid recent Instagram posts hinting relationship troubles between the two.
According to another report from Hollywood Life, the aspiring model uploaded a cryptic Instagram post last week that seemed to call out her on-again-off-again boyfriend.
Karrueche Tran's post read: "Well, I don't know about you, but I don't have the time to be repeatedly broken, tested, or drained."
She said: "I am a survivor with, or without you, and in all honesty, I don't need to prove myself to anybody."
The distraught girlfriend said that the people who know her "love and accept" her for who she is, then added: "So I will no longer waste my precious time trying to fix me to fit you."
Karrueche Tran appeared to call out Chris Brown when she said: "You want to love me? The very first step is to get to know me well enough to understand who I am. Accept me for my flaws and accept me for my heart."
"I will no longer sulk myself in sadness when people want to leave because I came to a conclusion that you have to lose the losers in order to find your winners," her Instagram post closed.
In response to his girlfriend's post, Hollywood Life said Chris Brown uploaded an Instagram video to somewhat explain his side of the story.
The R&B hitmaker exasperated: "I don't understand this s*** sometimes. Girls want a man that all the other girls want, but then when they with the man, they get mad when all the other girls want him. The f***?"
