The Washington High School shooter is confirmed a freshman named Jaylen Fryberg.
As per CNN, Jaylen was a popular freshman and according to updated report, the shooter invited the victims on Friday shootout.
The total number of victims on last Friday's shootout is five. According to the publication, the highschool victims were invited to the same lunch table by the shooter.
Snohomish County Sheriff Ty Trenary stated on Monday, "It's our understanding he (invited them) via texting."
Many witnesses said that Jaylen Fryberg, a popular freshman, opened fire on Friday in the crowded lunchroom at Marysville-Pilchuck High School. The school is about 34 miles north of Seattle.
On the day of the shootout, he also killed Zoe Galasso, 14 yearsold, and shot other four victims before he took his own life, authorities said.
Yahoo News reported that the second student Gia Soria died last Sunday. Soriano got head injury and had been in critical condition. The Providence Regional Medical Center read the statement of Gia's parents late Sunday night.
"We are devastated by this senseless tragedy. Gia is our beautiful daughter and words cannot express how much we will miss her."
The family will donate her organs.
Other three students still remain in the hospital. Shaylee Chuckulnaskit, 14, and Andrew Fryberg, 15, are in critical condition, while Nate Hatch, 14, is showing development. Andrew and Nate were Jaylen's cousins.
Jordan Luton, a student who also witnessed the shootout in the cafeteria said that when he was finishing his lunch, he heard a loud bang and he saw Jaylen go up to a table of students.
As per Jordan, the shooter fired about six bullets into the backs of the students on the same table. Jordan told CNN, "They were his friends, so it wasn't just random."
