Anjelica Huston has alleged that she was viciously assaulted by her then-boyfriend in the 70s, Ryan O'Neal. In her new tell-all, "Watch Me," the 64-year-old actress shared some of the details of the alleged brutal fight that compelled her to break up with the famous "Love Story" actor.

Huston wrote, "He turned one, grabbed me by the hair and hit me in the forehead with the top of his skull."

This incident allegedly happened at a party that the couple attended in Beverly Hills during the late 70s. According to Huston, O'Neal was supposedly upset with her after she was not able to return from a bathroom trip right away.

"I saw stars and reeled back," she shared. "Half blind, I ran away from him." She then recalled that she locked herself inside the bathroom so that she could escape her then-boyfriend before she would agree to allow him to speak to her again alone.

However, and unfortunately for Anjelica Huston, he hit her again. She wrote, "Ryan was batting me about the head with an open hand. Then, abruptly, he left."

According to the actress's statements, she left O'Neal that night and went to the arms of former lover, Jack Nicholson, the man she had initially left for O'Neal. She and Nicholson were an on-and-off couple from 1973 to 1989. She said, "I regretted leaving Jack. I hated causing him pain."

Although Nicholson may not have hurt her physically, it would appear that he hurt her in other ways. Apparently, her relationship with Nicholson had flaws of its own as he had a weakness for the ladies. Anjelica Huston once confronted him about sleeping with an ex of his, but he simply told her, "Oh, Toots. It was just a mercy f*ck."

Eventually, Anjelica Huston got tired of Nicholson's womanizing ways and she decided to end things with him. She later got married to sculptor Robert Graham in 1992 and they stayed together until he died in 2008.
