Changes are at the heart of this "Divergent" series "Insurgent" movie news, starting with lead star Shailene Woodley's revelation that compared to its predecessor; the sequel is more action-packed. Did new director Robert Schwenke make radical changes in the movie?

In her interview with MTV for her movie "White Bird in a Blizzard," Josh Horowitz popped the question, and her answer was "Yes." However, she clarified for this "Divergent" series "Insurgent" movie news, that as radical as these changes may be, they are not something that most people might expect.

She told MTV:

"It's definitely going to have a lot more action, and I think it's more character-driven in a lot of ways."

The "White Bird in a Blizzard" lead star went on to explain how director Schwentke made it easier for her to develop her Tris character for the second time. This development has contributed to the more character-centric plotline the movie has acquired.

The actress described Schwenke as an "actor's director" who takes time to listen and absorb the actors' and actresses' opinions of their respective characters. They were constantly communicating about matters involving the characters - hair, makeup, characterization, etc.

She described their work-related dialogues as more grounded and truthful. If there was even the slightest thing that felt off while they were shooting, Schwentke would halt production to discuss the matter over with the actor/actors concerned.

And for Woodley, Schwentke's approach and openness kept the story solid and intact. With this, fans definitely have a lot to expect when the movie opens by March 20, 2015.

According to Deadline, Lionsgate shared vital "Divergent" series "Insurgen"t movie news about the formats in which Summer Entertainment will release the films: in both 2D and 3D.
