Quicksilver will be given another time to shine in the upcoming Marvel blockbuster, "X-Men: Apocalypse." It did not take much long for the makers of "X-Men: Days of Future Past" to realize that they need to give Evan Peters as the speedy mutant a much bigger role in the new "X-Men" flick.

The audience truly fell in love with Peters's take on the wacky and fast-moving mutant just this past summer. Peters was featured in his character applying his quick moves as he helped break Magneto out of his prison in the Pentagon. In fact, his scene is considered as one of the best ones in the film.

His scene will certainly be difficult to top in the sequel, but the nothing is stopping the brains behind the franchise from making sure that Quicksilver will not disappoint in the next "X-Men" movie.

Brian Smrz, the second unit director of "X-Men: Days of Future Past," revealed to Newsarama that the franchise is presently working on a way to give Quicksilver another spotlight in the upcoming blockbuster. According to Smrz, he was the one who shot majority of Quicksilver's hyper-speed sequence and that he is already planning out a new way to feature Peter Maximoff's special powers.

He did not give much detail about the sequence that he has planned, but Smrz did say, "Well, there will be another Quicksilver scene, which I'm looking forward to. That'll be fun."

Moreover, it would appear that Quicksilver is not the only speedy superhero who will be making his rounds in pop culture by the time "X-Men: Apocalypse" hits the big screen by 2016. It has been previously reported that the Flash is also expected to show up in "Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice," which, in turn, will be premiering three months before its Marvel rival flick.

Now that the Flash's TV series is nearing the ends of its second season, there might be a big screen television rendition of the famous DC Comics superhero, who is played by Ezra Miller.
