"Star Wars Episode 7" cast Harrison Ford celebrates with cast in London last Saturday after filming ended for the latest installment in the galaxy far, far away.
In a report from MailOnline, "Star Wars Episode 7" cast Harrison Ford joined director JJ Abrams and co-stars Carrie Fisher, Andy Serkis, John Boyega and Pip Anderson for the night out.
"Harrison, 72, who is reprising his role as Han Solo in the latest offering, looked incredibly dapper in a charcoal suit and tie, with a white shirt and black dress shoes," the tabloid reported. "Carrie Fisher (aka Princess Leia) arrived a little while later, dressed in a blue coat and black shoes, and was followed by director JJ Abrams, who wore a classic black tuxedo and striped tie."
"Star Wars Episode 7" cast Harrison Ford has earlier been reported to have delayed the production after suffering an injury to his ankle when the hatch of the Millenium Falcon closed in on his leg.
Meanwhile, LucasFilm president Kathleen Kennedy and JJ Abrams wrote a letter to the cast and crew at the end of filming.
The letter, published on Comic Book Movie, reads:
"It is a true honor and absolute joy to come to the set every day and work alongside each of you. Your professionalism, passion and patience is more deeply appreciated than we could ever express.
From the deserts of Abu Dhabi, to the Forest of Dean, to the stages of Pinewood, you have risen to every challenge and has been as wonderfully kind as you are brilliantly talented.
Our ambition here is large, of course, and it must be: we are here to make a film that entertains millions of people, of all ages, for generations. To create an experience people will cherish watching as much as we will cherish having made it, together.
How lovely it would be if you had, in addition to your name on the screen, some actual, real tangible proof that you were part of it!
Here, then, is the proof. Wear it well, wear it healthily, wear it proudly,
But mostly, thank you."
