While Ronda Rousey's next fight will be against a less high-profile opponent, "Rowdy" has diverted her attention to old paper rival Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino, whom she wants charged with attempted homicide for Performance Enhancing Drug use.
The UFC women's champ is still adamant in facing "Cyborg", adding that she wants to "put her out of her misery."
Ronda Rousey's next fight is against undefeated "Alpha" Cat Zingano, which was made official last week. The bout is set to take place at UFC 184 in February, as the co-main event bout of the middleweight title fight between champion Chris Weidman and challenger Vitor Belfort.
But on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour, Ronda Rousey's next fight was slightly overlooked, after "Rowdy" momentarily set her sights on "Cyborg" Justino. As expected, the reigning UFC bantamweight champion went all out when she spoke.
"I'll do it, I'll beat her, it's just, I mean, that girl in my eyes should be charged with attempted negligent homicide," Rousey said. "Coming into the cage with performance-enhancing drugs is the equivalent of walking in there with a weapon."
Justino, who is currently fighting under Invicta FC's bantamweight division, has had her history of being caught with using PEDs, joining the long list of fighters such as Vitor Belfort, Chael Sonnen, and Wanderlei Silva, all of whom had taken in a blow as far as their reputation goes.
Rousey, on the other hand, prides herself as a fighter who competes clean, barring any form of illegal substance to enter her body in any way. This was the main reason why she believes that fighting under the influence of such drugs is equivalent to fighting with a weapon.
As for facing "Cyborg", Rousey is still up for the challenge. She even promised a convincing finish from her end if the fight does happen.
"I'm happy to put her out of her misery and put her out of the sport so no one else will ever have to deal with her again because it's something that needs to be done," Rousey declared.
