Rory MacDonald's next fight will be a professional grappling match, and as early as now, "Ares" is already looking forward to it. One of the UFC's top welterweight contenders also revealed his dislike for Women's mixed martial arts.

Rory MacDonald's next fight will be at the fifth installment of Metamoris Pro, a professional grappling promotion company set-up by Ralek Gracie, son of the UFC's creator, Rorion Gracie. "Ares" will be facing multi-titled Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor Jonathan "JT" Torres on November 22nd in California.

Rory MacDonald's next fight will be taking place outside of the cage for the first time since his professional mixed martial arts debut in 2005. While he has already achieved a relatively significant amount of success in MMA, the 25-year old fighter out of Canada's renowned Tristar Gym is looking to make his name at another realm of combat sports.

"I haven't been in a grappling match or a grappling tournament in a long time," MacDonald said during Monday's edition of The MMA Hour. "After this (last) fight I have kind of a layoff between my next fight, so why not?"

MacDonald also explained his reason for joining a grappling tournament this time around, noting that it stemmed primarily from his love for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and martial arts in general.

"I've been doing jiu-jitsu since I was 14 years old," MacDonald said. "It actually was the martial art that was really stapled in my mind that said, this is what I want to do. I want to do martial arts for the rest of my life. It was the first thing I fell in love with."

But his love for combat did not translate to women's mixed martial arts competition. For "Ares", female combatants do not focus on technique during their fights.

"I find it that they fight with a lot of emotion, and sometimes the technique gets thrown out the backdoor a lot of the time," MacDonald explained. "Not all of the time. And don't get me wrong, I respect them. They fight hard. It's no joke. But it's not something that I watch a lot."

MacDonald, however, did make an exception.

"Ronda's another one I think is really good," he said. "Her judo's really impressive, how she uses it in MMA."

"I like watching skilled fighters, and I think she uses her skill super-well."
