If a tech firm makes an advertisement and doesn't drag Apple, does the advertisement even present at all? Lenovo dares Apple in a new ad to a dance showdown with its Yoga 3 Pro Laptop versus the MacBook Air. Apple also got the same swipe from Microsoft with a series of advertisements for its Surface Pro 3 computer/tablet in August.
The Lenovo ad first tackles on the MacBook Air thickness vs the Yoga 3 Pro's. Yoga 3 is 13mm versus the 17 mm of the MacBook Air. It also notes that Yoga 3 Pro's touch screen by presenting a finger, pressing it on the screen of the MacBook Air. The rest of the ad showcases the Yoga 3 signature hinging feature of Lenovo laptops, the keyboard and screen can bend back that lets it change to tablet mode and tent mode when the hinge is completely bent backward which make it seems like a tablet PC. A part of the ad showed that the MacBook Air is too hard to compete with Yoga 3 Pro, which can screw up the different display modes. But the ad did not state that Yoga 3 Pro costs $1300, a little expensive than the MacBook Air, which costs $899.
The Yoga 3 Pro began shipping orders from the latter part of October, and is now has three colors; orange, silver and gold. The laptop operates with Windows 8.1. The first Lenovo Yoga laptop was designed based on an hybrid design, that could be used in four various modes, full features and of course its special hinge that could be unfold until 360 degrees.
The Yoga 3 Pro maintains the 360 degrees hinge signature in their product line, developed with a watchband classy design that shows more creativity than its predecessors. Lenovo added two more hinges for smoother bend of the latest model of Yoga Pro. Now, which laptop is better?
