Will.I.Am Puls Smartwatch has been unveiled.

Will.I.Am is popularly known as a pop artist. He began his music career as a member of "Black Eyed Peas" and he is currently busy as a coach/judge at UK and Australian "The Voice" series.

Apart from being a coach, the pop artist also entered the technology business and has shown off his Puls Smartphone and smartwatch in public. Recently, he introduced his smartphone alongside his smartwatch. He appeared on Techradar and explained why he decided to develop a gadget like this.

Based on Wall Street Journal, the pop singer's smartwatch is two inches wide. The creator of this gadget boasts that it doesn’t depend on a cellphone like other smartwatches as it can connect to a cellular network by itself to make calls, send text messages, check in on social networks, find location on a map, and to play music. Its integrated touch screen built to operate the forked version of Android that powers it. Just like Android Wear and the Apple Watch, it has a voice-activated digital assistant, named Aneeda (Siri version).

There are tech blogs who tested and wrote reviews about the smartphone and watches including "The Verge." Dan Seifert, one of the authors of "The Verge" wrote on his headline that "Will.I.Am Puls Smartwatch is the worst product."

Based on Seifert's review, he described the Puls smartwatch as a "stiff cuff that you wear around your wrist." He also mentioned some features of the watch like its curvy touchscreen on its surface and sensors that can measure activity, the ability to run its own operating system that relies on swipe gestures to navigate, and lastly, a thick and inflexible device that is not comfortable to wear. When it comes to the screen of the watch, it is grainy and the operating system is neither responsive or intuitive.

After publishing his article, he followed up that Will.i.am's representatives told him that the version of the Puls' smartwatch that shown to him was an early developer model, and that retail units will have newer software with improved usability.

The tech blogger promised that he will immediately update this review once the product is released and if he sees changes and improvement of this product.
