Anderson Silva's comeback in the UFC may lead to a third fight against reigning middleweight champion Chris Weidman, but the current 185-pound king demeans the possible fight as an "easy payday." The "All-American" also made his claim of invincibility at the UFC's middleweight division.

Anderson Silva's comeback fight in the UFC after a yearlong absence will be against former welterweight title contender Nick Diaz at UFC 183 in January. It will be "The Spider's" first time inside the cage since the broken leg injury he sustained in the hands of Chris Weidman during their second fight at UFC 168 in December 2013.

As Weidman prepares himself for his own fight in February at UFC 184 against Vitor Belfort, Anderson Silva's comeback had been prolonged further after the former champion signed a new 15-fight deal with the UFC. The Brazilian fighter also expressed his intent to face "All-American" for a third time, if fate permits it.

"I will fight the fights I have left in my contract and, if I earn a chance to fight for the title one day, against (Weidman) or not - not being a friend or a training partner -, I will be happy," Silva said in an early-October report by MMA Fighting.

While it is unsure as of this posting if the said third fight against Chris Weidman will be for UFC gold, the reigning middleweight champion immediately belittled the said possibility. Weidman was the first fighter to finish Silva while "The Spider" was enjoying his lengthy reign as champion and pound-for-pound MMA king.

"Anderson Silva a third time? If that's what people want to see then it will happen," Weidman said in a report by FOX Sports. "Easy payday? Yeah pretty much. With all due respect."

Weidman's confidence is on an all-time high as of the moment, that he does not see himself being beaten by the current crop of middleweight contenders in the UFC.

"With all due respect to the division, no one is beating me at 185," Weidman declared. "Sorry. I think everybody is talented. I think everyone has a threat, but none of them are beating me."
