The popular zombie apocalypse video game is set in a different place this time around for the sequel of this video game. Instead of the exotic island of Banoi, the game is now set in present day California. One of the familiar settings to be showcased in this video game sequel is the touristy beach walk board walk of Venice beach. Yet another setting is San Francisco's Golden Gate bridge.
Ahead of the Dead Island 2 release date, we now know that aside from the setting in sunny California, the video game will once again have a multiplayer feature of up to eight players who will either play with you or against you. There will also be a skill system so comprehensive that it allows for any player to be able to make their own heroes and weapons incredibly tailor fit to their tastes and preferences.
The story of this video game sequel, according to Dead Island 2 spoilers, is that after some time when the events in Banoi took place, California has become the hot zone for the zombie outbreak. The whole state had been put under quarantine, and this is virtually the brand new battleground that Dead Island 2 gamers will be able to play their favorite game.
