The investigation behind the death of Joan Rivers has left the late comedian's daughter Melissa Rivers "outraged by the misconduct and management," stated attorneys, according to the Boston Herald.
A government agency report shows that the New York outpatient clinic where Joan Rivers suffered cardiac arrest did not follow protocol during her surgery, according to the media outlet Beta Wired.
There was reportedly no record that Rivers was weighed before given the sedative propofol during the operation, according to the Centres for Medicare & Medicare Services. It was further stated that there were inconsistencies on the record regarding the dosage of the drug.
The agency also reportedly stated that there were no records of medical consent for all the procedures performed and that physicians failed to detect her failing vital signs during the procedures. They also reportedly added that the doctor in the operating room was there without authorization.
Fans of Joan Rivers have expressed how much they miss the late actress via social media months after her death and have continued to quote the author.
"I miss Joan Rivers and Fashion Police," wrote Twitter user Terrance D. Spencer.
Fellow social media user Tam Vo wrote, "Nobody wants a carbon copy; you've gotta believe in what you're doing."
