Without concrete "The Elder Scrolls Online" release date for Xbox One and PS4 updates, many have grown tired of expecting for the MMORPG launch in consoles.

To calm expectant players, Bethesda has reportedly created a save and load option for exisitng players who aim to play the MMORPG on their consoles later on.

"On the downside of things, Bethesda failed to reveal on how long the delay is. Nevertheless, the company assured fans that they can already start playing Elder Scrolls Online on their PCs as the saved file can be brought forward to the Xbox One and PS4 in the future," Motoring Crunch reported.

And they're doing their best to improve the gamers' PC experience by releasing updates and patches.

Zenimax has already released Update 5 for "The Elder Scrolls Online" on PC. According to Massively, "The patch features improved facial animations, chat bubbles, dungeon and solo-instance scaling, and the Veteran City of Ash."

"Speaking of veterans, they'll probably be happy to know that the devs are continuing to roll out the previously announced veteran rank revamp with Update 5. Veteran Ranks are now earned via experience points, and each rank will grant an attribute point and a skill point. It now takes 1,432,550 experience points to earn a VR, and ZeniMax says that it expects 'this to reduce the amount of time it takes to gain a Veteran Rank.'

Bethesda has reportedly faced some major setbacks causing a delay in the reported 2014 release.

"It appears that Bethesda has faced a major obstacle in developing Elder Scrolls Online for the new-gen consoles. The game developer revealed that both the Xbox One and PS4 operate on different complex systems that they have to tailor made Elder Scrolls Online for each console," Motoring Crunch added.
