Actor Stephen Collins, who was accused of being a child molester, may no longer be able to make money in Hollywood since the scandal, which involved a leaked recording of the "7th Heaven" actor confessing to inappropriate conduct with minors, surfaced, according to People magazine.
Since the child molestation accusations emerged, Stephen Collins reportedly "lost all earning power," as stated in court papers filed on November 7, and hasn't worked since April.
He is reportedly expected not to book any more gigs for the rest of the year and has already been cut from various projects, including "Ted 2" and "Scandal." Collins reportedly lost $75,000 after being dropped from "Ted 2."
Stephen Collins and his estranged wife Faye Grant are reportedly scheduled to begin their divorce trial on November 12 in L.A, according to Us magazine. Grant is reportedly seeking $13,000 a month in spousal support, according to the Associated Press, while the actor's attorney has requested the removal of all future payments due to his destroyed career.
"Mr. Collins is 67-years-old and Ms. Grant is 57-year-old. Ms. Grant does not have any health impediments which would preclude her from being able to work," the court papers reportedly say.
They continue, "Mr. Collins is past retirement age and he has not worked since April 2014. If he were ordered to pay support, he would have to utilize his financial accounts to pay the support, whereas Ms. Grant would be able to preserve funds in her financial accounts."
Collins reportedly also took a stab at Grant's lack of "domestic duties."
"On days when Mr. Collins did not, Mr. Collins took care of the parties' daughter more than Ms. Grant did," the papers said.
The couple had been married for 27 years.
