"The Big Bang Theory" season 8 spoilers don't provide a hint on the next chapter in Sheldon and Amy's romance, as the showrunner is sweating on about the couple's intimacy.
Showrunner Steve Molaro teased "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 spoilers to TVLine when he was asked whether Amy did tell Sheldon that she loves him back.
"I think it's safe to say she said it back after her panic attack subsided. Several times. Made it her Facebook status and then proceeded to tell everyone and anyone who would listen," he said.
As to what happens next in their chapter, "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 spoilers from the showrunner are not so clear.
"That's tough to say. These characters are living, breathing people to me, so I try not to think of them in terms of a check list. To be honest, we didn't even know the 'I love you' was going to happen until we were in the middle of figuring out the prom story," he explained "So I'd like to think there are even more milestones, beyond the bigger more obvious ones, that haven't even occurred to us yet."
In the "Prom Equivalency" episode, Sheldon confessed his love for Amy after the panic attacks.
"I really did think you looked pretty," he told her, adding that he panicked because of all the pressure about what happens after the prom.
But she told him that, "just because it is prom, doesn't mean we have to spend the night together," although she says that she's always hoping that they would.
That's when Sheldon confessed that he loves Amy, which sent her into a panic attack.
The next question therefor is whether or not Sheldon and Amy will have a bed scene.
And Steve Molaro's "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 spoilers revealed that the writers have not really touched upon that area.
"I have no idea when that will be broached, but I have learned that if we're sweating and scared of a scene, that's usually a good sign to do it," he added.
