She said, "I still haven't heard it. I put my fingers in my ears...I was like, 'Will you guys please get, like, Lorde to really sing it and I'll lip synch?' They said, 'No, it's really [got to be] your voice.' So, I avoid [watching] that scene."
E Online said that the reason why J.Law loathes singing in public is that she's already "scarred" from a childhood performance.
J.Law exlained "I have a mother-a Southern mother-who used to just tell me that I was amazing at everything, and I could do everything, but I can't, and this voice...I had when I was like 8, and so I sang in front of the school 'cause I was lik, 'I can do that! I can do anything!'"
"Have a Holly, Jolly Christmas"-and it was a disaster! "My dad laughed for like the entire week," she added.
