Eminem alleged misogyny rap attacks on Lana Del Rey have started when the music video "Shady CXVPHER" was released on Youtube.
The said video is a promotion for an upcoming release of a Shady Records compilation. The video shows the rapper in an abandoned Detroit auditorium where each of them shows off their free-styling skills in seven minutes.
The line of "Slim Shady" rapper which said to be an attack to "Summertime Sadness" Lana Del Rey reads, “I may fight for gay rights, especially if the dyke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice. Play nice, b—- — I’ll punch Lana Del Rey in the face twice like Ray Rice, in broad daylight, in plain sight of elevator surveillance, ’til the head is bangin’ on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens.”
This is not the first time that Eminem mentioned female celebrites on his rap songs. In 2009, he targeted Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Simpson, Amy Winehouse, Kim Kardashian and Mariah Carey. He called Carey a “c–t” and a “whore.” The insults against Carey made Busta Rhymes tell him to cool it.
Azealia Banks, rapper, singer, and songwriter known for songs "Ice Princess," and "1991" told Del Rey on Twitter, "tell him to go back to his trailer park and eat his microwave hotpocket dinner and suck on his sisters tiddies."
The "Summertime Sadness" singer is not yet giving comments about the issue. The indie singer was reportedly a fan of the rapper. In 2012 interview, Del Rey told rnbjunk.com, "[Eminem] really changed my life. I didn't know music could be intelligent. He wasn't just rhyming for rhyme's sake. That made me think I could actually talk about the way things actually were. He's a genius."
