"Dumb and Dumber 2" (or to) was released this weekend and earned $14.2 million on its opening Friday, according to Forbes.
One thing "Dumb and Dumber 2" moviegoers won't know before walking into the theater is that the movie, which stars Jim Carey and Jeff Daniels, will have a cameo appearance made by "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" matriarch Mama June, according to the U.K's Daily Mail.
Mama June, who has been involved in a scandal involving her alleged relationship with registered sex offender Mark McDaniel, reportedly plays the trailer park wife of Harry, played by Jeff Daniels, in a short dream sequence. Mama June reportedly proudly revealed her guest role in "Dumb and Dumber 2" through the Facebook page of her daughter and former star of the TLC show, Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson.
"I know with all the craziness going on now but i'm very excited to announce that i'm going to be in the new dumb and dumber to movie that premieres today in theaters. will b playing jeff daniels wife in one of scene and i am very appreciative for the opportunity and the experience doing something like this," wrote Mama June in a long Facebook post.
Mama June's appearance in the film was reportedly kept a secret until the move hit theaters.
Details of the recent scandal involving Mama June's family continues to emerge; the latest being that Mama June was reportedly prosecuted for failing to pay child support, according to TMZ.
A year after Mark McDaniel reportedly forced Mama June's eldest daughter, Anna Cardwell, who was eight-years-old at the time, to perform oral sex on him, June's mom, Sandra Hale, took custody of Anna, according to Cosmopolitan. When the guardianship was created, Mama June was reportedly required to pay her mom $100 a month in child support.
However, the Henry County D.A. filed criminal contempt charges against Mama June reportedly claiming that she was $4,144.62 behind on her payments.
The recent scandal has further destroyed Mama June's relationship with her daughter Anna, who is now married and has a daughter.
"'[My mother] never told me she believes me. She never said, 'Hey Anna, I'm sorry for not believing you and I still don't believe you to this day,'" Cardwell told "Entertainment Tonight."
