"House of Cards" season 3 cast Robin Wright's engagement is reportedly not the right decision as former president Bill Clinton weighed in on the Netflix series.

The report from Us Weekly said that the busy schedule between the two actors was the main factor that broke the camel's back on why "House Of Cards" Season 3 cast Robin Wright's engagement did not work out.

"She got swept up in the engagement last Christmas, but then their schedules got crazy and she realized it wasn't the right decision," a source told the magazine.

Last summer, the 48-year-old actress was in Baltimore for the Netflix series and on weekends, she's in Los Angeles with her two children, Dylan 23, and Hopper Jack, 21. All that time, Ben Foster, 34, was in London for "A Streetcar Named Desire."

"The gap just ended up being too much, Ben was kind of immature. She couldn't deal with him anymore," the source added of the 14-year age gap between the couple.

"House of Cards" season 3 cast Robin Wright's engagement to Ben Foster became official last January when he gave her a ring. They met on the set of "Rampant" in 2011.

Last March, the usually very private actress talked about Ben Foster to TV Week, per MailOnline. "[I] wake up every day and know that in my bone marrow. This is the one for me," she said. "Kissing my boyfriend is my favourite food."

Meanwhile, former president Bill Clinton talked to TODAY regarding the "House of Cards" and "Scandal" TV series.

"The thing about 'Scandal' and 'House of Cards' that makes it fun to watch is that I can't imagine that either a president ["Cards" Frank Underwood] or the president's chief of staff on 'Scandal' could really get away with murder. I wish I had known that while I was in office," he said.

"Think of all the opportunities I missed!" Bill Clinton quipped. "So many times, so many people had that coming. Crazy."
