Good news Marvel fans as new updates for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 have bee revealed.

It looks a guest character from the Marvel universe will join in the show as Star-Lord himself, Chris Pratt wants to be part of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

According to reports from Zap2It, "The Guardians of the Galaxy" star told the website that if Marvel asked him to show up for a HYDRA battle, he'd go for it saying that.

"I wouldn't rule it out. Marvel would have to decide, but if it made sense for the brand and for the story, yeah sure."

Pratt further adds by saying,

"What's pretty neat about Marvel [is] the mythology exists across all mediums -- comic books to films to television," Pratt explains. "It's one giant universe so it's not beyond the realm of possibility."

If was rumored before that three former SHIELD agents will likely appear in the show as Den of Geeks reports that the show's creators Joss and Jed Whedon pitched in an idea of having characters from the Avengers to guest star in the new episodes in season 2. Jed hinted that these characters are well renowned Shield agents and fans have speculated that these characters are none other than Black Widow/Natasha Romanov and Hawkeye/Clint Barton.

Several comic book fans wanted to see Hawkeye in the show to explain his absents during HYDRA'S takeover of S.H.I.E.L.D. in season 1.

But these two aren't the only characters to make an appearance in season 2. Sharon Carter a.k.a. Agent 13 is also rumored to join Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and is hinted to be a series regular. Sharon Carter first appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier played by Emily VanCamp.

So far, there are no confirmations yet regarding these three agents showing up in season 2, but knowing Marvel, the possibilities are limitless.

Lastly, there have been reports that Chloe Bennet's character Skye will develop powers in season 2.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 2 will likely focus on Skye's mysterious past and everyone knows that Skye is not human to begin with. There have several rumors and theories surrounding Skye's origin, and her parents as well.

ComicBook.com reports that an allege Marvel Facebook fan page claimed that Skye will have abilities similar to the Inhuman character Crystal in which she has elemental powers, but as it turns out it was nothing more than a fan's suggestion for the writers of the show.

Fans have already figured out the mystery of the alien writing, which as it turns out to be a hidden city, and knowing Marvel comic history there is one hidden city which has a connection with the Kree, and that would be Attilan, the home of the Inhumans.

ComicBookResources theorized that the city has a hidden "Terrigen bomb", and the Divider/Obelisk is some how a Terrigen crystal which will power the bomb itself.

With this in mind plus the Inhumans movie slated for November 2, 2018. It could be matter of time before the inhumans show up in the show.
