Lady Gaga news reported that the "Cheek To Cheek" singer seems to have been dissed by Taylor Swift.
In a cover feature for TIME, the "Shake It Off" singer somewhat threw shade at other female singers who dress provocatively and live a crazy lifestyle.
The 24-year-old pop star was hinted by Inquisitr to be addressing Lady Gaga when she said: "I just struggle to find a woman in music who hasn't been completely picked apart by the media, or scrutinized and criticized for aging, or criticized for fighting aging-it just seems to be much more difficult to be a woman in music and to grow older."
Inquisitr pointed out another statement made by Taylor Swift that seemed to scoff at the likes of Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and other more controversial singers. Taylor Swift said: "I'm sure there will be things that my grandkids make fun of me for no matter what, but I'd really rather it be, 'Look how awkward your dancing was in the 'Shake It Off' video! You look so weird, Grandma!' Rather than, 'Grandma, is that your nipple?'"
Taylor Swift went on to tell TIME: "We're taught to find examples for the way we want our lives to wind up. But I can't find anyone, really, who's had the same career trajectory as mine."
Nonetheless, Lady Gaga appears to be too busy to be fazed by criticisms - whether from Taylor Swift or other critics. Recent Lady Gaga news announced that the pop star turned jazz singer will perform with Tony Bennett at New York City's iconic Rockefeller tree lighting event, said a report from USA Today.
The duo is set to appear alongside other musicians such as Cyndi Lauper, Seth MacFarlane featuring Sara Bareilles, Idina Menzel, Pentatonix, LeAnn Rimes and Trisha Yearwood.
The event will be covered by hosts from the TODAY show including Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, Al Roker and Natalie Morales.
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett's performance will be part of the TV special to be aired by NBC on December 3.
