"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" blogs might see the addition of former cast member Caroline Manzo.
Manzo had been known for her motherly wisdom both on the show and in her blogs, and now that Teresa Giudice may not be returning to the season 7 of RHONJ due to her upcoming prison sentence, Bravo producers may be looking to bring the "Manzo'd With Children" star back on board, according to the media outlet Radar Online.
"Bravo has always liked Caroline. They realize with Teresa gone they are going to have to do something to keep viewers intrigued, interested, and tuned in," an insider stated, according to the media outlet All Things RH.
The source added, "Bravo wants to ensure that ratings for next season are strong. Caroline always brought Italian-Mom realness to the show, which viewers connected with. She also has a big fan base."
However, Caroline Manzo may not be ready to return to writing her RHONJ blogs anytime soon.
"Caroline always likes to keep people thinking about what her next move will be. If the offer from Bravo is right, Caroline will definitely consider it," the source stated.
The insider continued, "Manzo'd exceeded Bravo's expectations ratings-wise and they are definitely interested in another season."
Teresa Giudice's legal troubles have been a concern for RHONJ fans all around, especially because it has left the future of the show unclear. The mother-of-four has also gained sympathy from fellow Housewife Lisa Vanderpump.
"I have a lot of empathy for her situation as regarding her children and the family, because I know she's absolutely a wonderful mother. She worships the children, so I do feel sorry for her about that, I really do," stated the RHOBH star, according to WebProNews.
The "Vanderpump Rules" star added, "Unfortunately, you know, actions have consequences and I don't know exactly what went down, but I know certainly, just from one Housewife to another, I send her love and support, and what doesn't kill you makes you strong."
