Katherine Heigl has a new show coming out, but things still aren't looking too good for the former "Grey's Anatomy" star's reputation.
The new NBC show, "State of Affairs," may have been the golden opportunity for Katherine Heigl to bounce back from her tainted reputation, but it's questionable as to whether people may even tune in to watch the drama because of their dislike for the actress.
"I think everyone deserves to find true happiness except for Katherine Heigl," wrote Twitter user DiScO ViEtNaM.
Another social media user Chris Black simply tweeted, "How quickly is Katherine Heigl's new NBC going to get canceled?"
Katherine Heigl's career began to plummet with her highly publicized conflict with "Grey's Anatomy" creator Shonda Rhimes and her comment regarding Judd Apatow's "Knocked Up" being "a little bit sexist," according to E! News.
"At the end of the day, call me any name you want, but I'm going to continue to stand up for myself and I'm going to continue to be heard and voice what I feel and not be bullied into being a doormat, just so you'll call me a sweetheart. I don't want to teach my kids that. . . I still think it's important to be true to yourself. I don't want my kids to feel like they don't have a voice or that having a voice makes them a bitch," stated Katherine Heigl.
The mother-of-two has expressed her excitement about her return to the small screen via Twitter as well.
"Today's the big day for our cast and crew! We're really excited to finally show you #StateofAffairs. Hope you all love it as much as we do," tweeted Heigl.
Others aren't has enthusiastic about the new show.
"Sorry, Hollywood, but Katherine Heigl is about as believable as a CIA Analyst as I am rapper with a budding music career," wrote Twitter user Hot Lil' Mongoose.
Another user shauna added, "Oh. I see we're still trying to make Katherine Heigl happen."
