Dog Follows Owner Everywhere, Even To The Hospital [PHOTO]

Although dogs usually tend to follow their owners almost everywhere, Buddy, the 35-pound Beagle mix, proved that there's a reason dogs do the things that they do.

When Buddy's owner, JR Nicholson, complained about feeling dizzy and asked his ranch hand to be transported to the hospital, the dog chose not to let his master go alone.

Buddy reportedly hopped on the side of the ambulance and rode for about 20 miles before another driver flagged the ambulance down, according to CNN.

"We didn't have anything else to do but to load the dog up and put him in the ambulance and take him to the ER with us," emergency medical technician Tanner Brown told The Standard Times.

The 85-year-old rancher reportedly adopted Buddy from a shelter only four months ago, but the dog has already proven himself to be a loyal companion to his new owner.

"He didn't have to go to the hospital with me, but he did," stated Nicholsan.

Nicholsan's ranch hand, Brian Wright, reportedly retrieved the dog from the ambulance, then later drove his boss and Buddy home, according to the Associated Press.

Buddy's story of devotion has already begun circulating among social media users.

"Sweet story of #devotion #loyalty. Humans could learn a few things," wrote Twitter user Marie Lanza.

Fellow social media user Jessica Sara Mullins posted Buddy's story on her account along with the comment, "I love dogs."
