After Jon Jones' next fight against Daniel Cormier, "Bones" has declared that he only wants superfights involving bigger named opponents. The reigning UFC light heavyweight champion also vowed that he will never fight former long-time middleweight champion and pound-for-pound mixed martial arts king Anderson Silva.

Jon Jones' next fight against Daniel Cormier is scheduled for UFC 182 on January 3rd. But with two months away, "Bones" has already peeked into the near future ahead of the said bout, wherein he expressed his intent to be involved in much bigger fights, right after.

"Superfights I would go for," Jones said during Monday's media day entitled "The Time is Now. "I've been training with heavyweights for years now. I know what it feels like, and I think I would do really good against them. So that would be the next chapter."

Coincidentally, Jon Jones' next fight opponent, Daniel Cormier, is a former heavyweight, who even won the Stirkeforce Heavyweight title in 2012. And for "Bones," facing heavier opponents is the next best move for his career.

"There are definitely a lot of heavyweights that I know I would beat," Jones continued. "A lot of heavyweights that could give me a hell of a run or possibly beat me. I keep it real. I'm smaller than these guys."

The current top pound-for-pound fighter also promised that he will never get inside the cage against a man he openly admires, Anderson "The Spider" Silva. According to the 27-year old fighter, he does not want to be the man who would lay down a beating on the fighter many considers as the "Greatest of all Time."

"Athletes of that caliber don't come around that often," he said. "I don't want to be the guy to beat him. Even though that's happened already, I wouldn't want to lose to him and I don't want to beat him. "

"I would never want to fight Anderson. Never. Ever," he reaffirmed.
