Ever since the start of the NBA season, the Cleveland Cavaliers has been slowly inching their way to becoming a solidified team.
During their first few games, many were worried of the trouble that the team was facing. Some say it was due to the lack of team work, poor defense, and weak offense and mostly, they say the team lacks coordination. There were even talks of players getting off on the wrong foot and news of friction arising between key stars such as LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
But the Cavaliers had proved them wrong and the rumors are long but gone. After a rough start, the team moved forward to win four straight games. And the center of attention to this breakthrough is none other than four-time league MVP James.
According to James "I have fun every time I step out on the basketball court - win, lose, or draw. I have a love for the game, I have fun, I show it on my face sometimes more than others. Inside, the kid is always excited to put another uniform on and go out and play."
During their game with the Atlanta Hawks over six of the team's key players had managed to reach double figures for the team.
Cavaliers coach David Blatt said "Have we turned the corner? Heck, I didn't even think there was a corner yet. It's so early. It's just so early. What is evident, and has been for the last three or four games, is that the ball is moving. LeBron has said and has told me that he is feeling good. And he's starting to feel his real game shape. This is the time to allow him to get comfortable and to get into his rhythm. For the foreseeable future, we're going to ride that."
The Cavs play seven of their next eight games at home, including playing host to the Denver Nuggets on Monday night.
With this winning streak and a much renewed tempo, it seems like the future is looking much brighter for Cleveland.
Will the team reach the playoffs? Will then get to the finals? Who knows but surely many will be waiting to find out what lies ahead of their future.
