Mama June's interview with Dr. Phil made the scandal regarding her relationship with registered sex offender Mark McDaniel even worse.
Parts of the interview were so cringe-worthy that even Dr. Phil commented on Mama June's apparent denial regarding the gravity of her family's situation.
"She was not forthcoming," stated Dr. Phil in an interview with TMZ, according to AJC.com.
He continued, "I did not believe what she had to say. I told her I did not believe what she had to say. She just simply is unwilling to tell the truth.
Both on and off camera, Dr. Phil made sure to comment on Mama June's very poor taste in men.
"I don't know who she's turning down but the ones she's picking are not exactly great citizens. This doesn't come with stardom. This woman has been making really bad choices with these children and with the men in her life for a long, long time," stated Dr. Phil.
Mama June continued to shock the world as she even stated that her eldest daughter, Anna "Chickadee" Cardwell, who was McDaniel's alleged victim, "has lied about certain things too." Anna was reportedly eight-years-old when she was allegedly molested by her mother's former boyfriend.
The former "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star had continuously denied that she's involved in a relationship with Mark McDaniel after her split from Mike "Sugar Bear" Thompson, but photos of the two together have shown otherwise.
Lee "Uncle Poodle" Thompson, Sugar Bear's brother, reportedly slammed Mama June for her recent claims.
"The truth on the whole thing is June is lying. She feels everyone that [she and Mark] haven't seen each other and that the photos are photoshopped. It's a big lie," Poodle told Dr. Phil, according to Us Weekly.
He added, "[June] came to me to go look at houses. It was on September 9. I drove her up and she said she wanted to meet a friend. I took her to meet Mark. I did not know who Mark was in the beginning. I think it was the first time she had seen him since he got out of prison."
