Teresa Giudice’s Daughter Gia In The Spotlight After Parents’ Prison Sentence: 3KT Gets Family Approval?

Teresa Giudice's eldest daughter Gia has been in the spotlight since her parents' prison sentence.

Although Gia had been in the public eye due to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," Teresa Giudice's 13-year-old daughter is now speaking out for her family and her girl group 3KT as her mother prepares to serve her 15-month prison sentence in January 2015.

"My family is probably one of the strongest families I know," stated Gia during an interview with Access Hollywood.

She continued, "So, we'll get through this. It's going to be fine and when it's over, we're going to be better than ever."

Other than how she's dealing with her parents' highly publicized legal issues, Gia has made a name for herself as a member of the teen girl group 3 Karat Diamonds, which released a cover video of Britney Spears' "Circus" on Halloween. The video had gained quite a bit of negative attention for being too "risqué," but the oldest daughter of the Giudice family reassured everyone that her parents approve of all that's 3KT.

"My parents thinks it's fun. My mom was there very step of the way and when my dad saw it, he was like 'Nice, Gia. Nice,'" explained Gia.

The girls of 3KT are now getting ready to film their second music video and have reportedly started an online fundraiser in the hopes of getting $7,500, according to Radar Online.

"WE LOVE OUR FANS! We are still so overwhelmed by the buzz and support over our first music video cover 'Circus' (originally by Britney Spears WHO WE ADORE!). So many of you had amazing words of support for us o our new journey. We were born to perform and entertain, and we are so lucky to be able to do this in such a big way. We want to empower an inspire other young performers to FOLLOW YOUR DREAM AND NEVER GIVE UP!," wrote the teenagers on their Kickstarter campaign.

The fundraiser has reportedly only raised $155 and is set to expire on December 17. The reluctance of people to contribute to the campaign may reportedly be due to the fact that the "Circus" music video actually made viewers quite uncomfortable, as the girls' ages are 13, 14 and 16.

"If the girls do get the money raised for the video shoot, how short will their skirts be this time? They will probably twerk with Santa Claus!," a source told the entertainment website.
