Since the infamous social media meme challenge that was launched last week, the rape allegations made against comedian Bill Cosby have been brought to light.

As alleged victims of the 77-year-old continue to come forward with their stories, the comedian's career is taking huge blows over and over again.

NBC and Netflix have reportedly set aside their project with Bill Cosby following the rape allegations, according to The New York Times. NBC reportedly said on Wednesday that it had dropped plans to develop a new sitcom starring Cosby, but the network has not directly stated that the decision was related to the recent assault claims.

Netflix reportedly released a statement on Tuesday night stating that it has decided to shelve a show commemorating the comic's 77th birthday. The show had reportedly been set to appear on the service starting November 28.

"At this time we are postponing the launch of the new stand-up comedy special, 'Bill Cosby 77,'" the statement read.

The most recent assault allegations against Bill Cosby were made by former model Janice Dickson, who reportedly claimed that he sexually assault her in 1982. Dickson reportedly claimed that the "Cosby Show" star gave her wine and a pill before sexually assaulting her, according to The Wrap.

"The next morning I woke up, and I wasn't wearing my pajamas, and I remember before I passed out that I had been sexually assaulted by this man," the former "America's Next Top Model" judge claimed.

She continued, "Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was Bill Cosby in a patchwork robe, dropping his robe and getting on top of me. And I remember a lot of pain. The next morning I remember waking up with my pajamas off and there was semen in between my legs."

Cosby's attorney, Marty Singer, has reportedly denied the claims, stating its all an "outrageous, defamatory lie" in a letter to the publication. Dickinson had reportedly claimed that Cosby's lawyers pressured her to remove details of the alleged assault from her autobiography.

"Neither Mr. Cosby or any of his attorneys were ever told by Harper Collins that Ms. Dickinson had supposedly planned to write that he had sexually assaulted her, and neither Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives ever communication [sic] with the publisher about any alleged rape or sexual assault about the book," Singer said.
