"Glee" season 6 creators are teasing fans with more spoilers and have confirmed another addition to the students of McKinley High.
Earlier this week, bluesy-pop singer-songwriter Noah Guthrie announced on his Facebook page that he will be joining the cast of "Glee" for its upcoming sixth and final season.
Guthrie will be playing the role of Roderick, one of the five new sophomores that will join New Directioners and that will be trained by no less than Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry, according to Design N Trend.
"I'm still trying to figure out exactly how this happened, but I'm so excited to announce that I would be joining the cast of Fox TV Show 'Glee,' for its final season! I'll be playing a character named Roderick. I'm in LA now at work shooting the upcoming season. This is my first time acting so I doubt I'll be winning any awards anytime soon," he wrote.
Guthrie first gained attention after he posted a unique rendition of LMAFO's "Sexy And I Know It" via his YouTube channel.
Talking about his plans with his musical career, he admitted that he will be back playing live shows for fans after he finishes filming for the series.
"My music is still the most important thing to me and I'll be back out playing live shows and recording new music as soon as 'Glee' finishes. This was such an unexpected opportunity and will give me so much more exposure that I could never have dreamed of. I'm so thankful to Fox for inviting me to join this great cast and for giving me the opportunity to learn and grow as an artist," he concluded.
Meanwhile, earlier this week, Michele shared a series of black-and-white photos of herself along with her some of the "Glee" co-stars for their last gallery shoot, Latino Post reported.
The actress tweeted one of the photos and wrote, "Can't believe it's our last season! I'm going to miss these guys so much! #GleeSeason6."
