Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have been an on-again-off-again couple for a while now, so their recent breakup wasn't all that alarming.
However, it seems like this time, Selena Gomez has made her breakup to Justin Bieber official, as the 20-year-old pop star is now reportedly on a spiritual mission to get closer to God, according to Hollywood Life.
Bieber reportedly headed to the Westside Jewish Community Center on November 19 and met with a rabbi for three hours, according to the Daily Mail. The "Boyfriend" singer has reportedly been feeling lost and "empty" after his sad split from Selena Gomez.
"He's questioning everything about his life right now. Even though he's got millions in the bank, he's feeling empty and struggling with depression and worthlessness," a source told HollywoodLife.
The insider added, "Part of this was brought on by his breakup with Selena. He always felt like he could fall back on that relationship."
After the couple's highly publicized breakup, Justin Bieber reportedly spent two weeks with a pastor in Rancho Mirage, California. He was also reportedly spotted reading the book "Occupy All Streets," which teaches how to spread the word of God and resist succumbing to temptation.
"Those close to Justin were concerned and reached out to the one person he always listens to and really looks up to, his pastor, Carl Lentz," the source revealed.
The insider continued, "Justin was all for it. There was no resistance on his part to go away for a couple of weeks for alone time, God time and some spiritual growth time."
Bieber's mom, Pattie Mallette, reportedly took to Twitter to support her son.
Mallette reportedly posted a link to an article featuring fans' stories about how Justin Bieber has touched their lives along with the caption, "@justinbieber See!? Don't forget what's inside of you!! I love you so much son! #makingadifference #ProudMamaMoment."
