"Pretty Little Liars" may have skipped its traditional Halloween episode, but it's all right because ABC Family finds an unusual but exciting way to bring back the half of the Season 5 with its Christmas episode.

The Christmas episode of "Pretty Little Liars", which premieres on December 9, may be the first time that the viewers will see the Liars and the former queen bee celebrating the white holiday. They will sing Christmas carols, exchange presents, and attend a Christmas gathering.

We will see them in glittering gowns instead of in scary costumes in "How the 'A' Stole Christmas", but it doesn't mean we cannot see them getting scared by the most elusive character on TV series. It seems 'A' doesn't have a vacation or doesn't appreciate Yuletide season at all.

Aria, Hanna, Emily, and Spencer will arrive in the Ice Ball party without Alison in their group, but the former queen bee will have her own group as they join the gathering. But where and when exactly will 'A' going to steal Christmas from the Liars?

During the season break after the shocking mid-season finale, "Pretty Little Liars" showrunner I. Marlene King revealed on a tweet that the much awaited revelation of the identity of 'A' is "closer than u think".

She also assured fans they don't have to wait for the Season 7 before the mysterious 'A' shows his or her face. She said, "I think fans got a little worried when they found out we were seven seasons because they thought maybe they're going to have to wait that long to find out who 'A' is, but I am promising you that you don't. The identity of big 'A' is going to be revealed before Season 7 starts."

In fact, some of the cast already know the character behind 'A', like Keegan Allen, who plays Toby in "Pretty Little Liars". He said about 'A', "They're dealing with something that's very dangerous."
