The spirit of Christmas descends upon Pasadena, California as "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 takes a break before resuming in December. Meanwhile, Sheldon is playing a spoiler once again as he's having none of that Yuletide nonsense.
According to "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 spoilers from Unreality TV, Amy will actually volunteer to host a Victorian Christmas party that is going to be "authentic."
"However, things may not go to plan as when Sheldon catches wind of what Amy is up to, he seeks revenge... will they end up celebrating the Christmas period after all?"
"The Big Bang Theory" season 8 spoilers can be gleaned from the synopsis which reads: "Leonard and Wolowitz turn to Raj for help in dealing with a work emergency. Also, Amy throws an authentic Victorian Christmas party, and Sheldon seeks revenge on her for making him celebrate Christmas," the official synopsis reads.
Meanwhile, the ratings for "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 episode titled "The Champagne Reflection" dipped a bit, said Digital Spy.
"CBS's The Big Bang Theory was down nearly one-half of a ratings point with 4.1 (14.61m) at 8pm," it said, adding that ABC won the key 18-49 demographic in the network wars with 2.9 percent.
The IGN noted that last episode of "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 wasn't the funniest by a mile as some of the jokes fell flat, particularly the Roger Rabbit tongue twister scene, or the bit about Bernadette actually tormenting young children and the handicap.
"This was hardly the funniest episode of The Big Bang Theory this season, but sometimes that's okay. It was nice to see the characters take a step back and evaluate their lives and careers," it said.
