Just like what we have guessed, the "Jurassic World" trailer leaked online before its announced release date. The official trailer was supposed to air on Thanksgiving Day. The producers made the announcement on Facebook and also on Twitter, which Universal Pictures re-Tweeted.
They showed a teaser and captioned it "The park is open this Thursday at 6PM PST | 9PM EST. JurassicWorld.com" The announcement was flashed at the end of the clip: "Trailer premiere will happen in Thanksgiving Football on NBC this Thursday and it will also be available online everywhere."
I guess it came a little earlier online and Universal Pictures was responsible for the "Jurassic World" trailer that leaked online. The video posted on YouTube already has more than 11 million views in less than 24 hours. The official trailer lasted for 2 minutes and 40 seconds, but that brought many viewers on the edge of their seats already.
Colin Trevorrow gave a heads up to his followers on Twitter. He wrote, "Due to circumstances beyond our control, the park will be opening early. #JurassicWorld." Producer Frank Marshall also posted the official trailer on Twitter and wrote, "Thanksgiving surprise! #JurasicWorld @JurassicPark". That definitely surprised many fans since they were expecting the trailer tomorrow.
We aren't sure as to why they decided to release the "Jurassic World" trailer earlier. We assumed that someone's about to leak the video so they decided to move fast. Remember what happened to "The Avengers: Age of Ultron"? Someone posted a raw copy of the official trailer online just a few days before its announced release date. That really pissed Marvel so they're trying to hunt the person responsible for it.
It's a good thing that Universal Pictures was the first one to show the "Jurassic World" trailer before someone else leaked it online. The footage featured the dinosaur theme park, the laboratory where they created the hybrid dinosaur, and Isla Nublar.
There's also a scene that showed Chris Pratt running for his life as the hybrid dinosaur chases him. The actor's character asked everyone to evacuate the island because the beast escaped and it's not any ordinary dinosaur. He said, "She's a highly intelligent animal. She'll kill anything that moves." That's pretty terrifying, right?
