"Fast and Furious 7" star Paul Walker may already be gone, but he will always live in the hearts of his family, friends and fans. The actor who starred as Brian O'Conner in the film franchise had a tragic car accident last November 30. It's just a few days away before his first death anniversary and what better way to remember that is by continuing his medical mission.
Just before the accident, Paul Walker was seen at an event for his charity "Reach Out Worldwide" for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. His brother Cody Walker decided to continue his advocacy and you can see his activities on his Facebook page. He even flew to the Asian country a few weeks ago together with a medical team to fulfill the needs of the remote regions.
The Filipinos were proud of what Cody has been doing and we are sure his brother is also proud of him. During an interview with E! News, the younger brother of the "Fast and Furious 7" star Paul Walker talked about Reach Out Worldwide. He said, "ROWW continues to be, to function, to help others even after our primary contributor, my brother, Paul Walker has passed." Cody added, "I know he would be so stoked to know that. ROWW changed his life, and he was so proud of it."
Before becoming an actor, Cody used to work on an ambulance and he is also a paramedic so this mission really suits him well. He said, "These missions are truly life changing for all involved. I'm so proud to be a part of this." The youngest of the Walker siblings revealed, "This year has been very challenging but also extremely rewarding." He added, "Thanks to you, Paul's legacy lives on through ROWW."
Will the brother of the "Fast and Furious 7" star Paul Walker continue his legacy in the movies as well? Movie Pilot reported a media analyst saying, "If Cody does a great job and is well received by audiences in this newly conceived role, then who better to carry on the Walker tradition than his brother? When it's a family member who fills in, it seems to soften any criticism that could develop."
Let's see how the audience will receive Cody Walker when "Furious 7" hits the theatre on April 3, 2015. But as of right now, he remains a winner to many Filipinos because of his good deed.
