A couple of months ago, Ed Sheeran and Niall Horan ended rumors of their alleged feud over a girl when the "Thinking Out Loud" singer planted a big kiss on the One Direction member's cheek during the iHeartRadio after party in Las Vegas last September.

The supposed tension stemmed from Sheeran's controversial song about an ex who cheated on him with one of his close friends. Fans deduced that the lyrics to "Don't" were pertaining to Sheeran's brief tryst with another British singer, Ellie Goulding.

The "Steal My Girl" singer was allegedly the friend that she cheated on based on the song. Ed Sheeran and Niall Horan as well as the rest of One Direction are very close friends. Sheeran even gave them one of his songs, "Little Things," for their 2012 album, "Take Me Home."

When Shazam Top 20 asked him if he would be stealing anyone's girlfriend, the "Kiss You" singer revealed that it's not his style.

"I'm not into that kind of thing, stealing people's girls," he said. "That's not my deal."

Although J-14 was shocked at his answer, the publication also believes that the British boyband member is actually too sweet to be stealing another guy’s girl.

Meanwhile, Ellie Goulding reportedly has had enough of her involvement with the song. In previous news, Top40 claimed that the "Burn" singer warned Sheeran's camp of a lawsuit should her image continue to be tainted because of "Don't."

The site quoted a source as saying, "Ed had never denied that Ellie was an inspiration for his work, so this seems a strange response after such a long time. Online there are hundreds of fan and media sites that have gone much further in their descriptions of Ellie."

Prior to that, the "Lego House" hitmaker shared that while the incident was "100% true," he has already moved from the ex-flame.

"I got over the anger the moment I wrote the song," he previously told The Sun in an interview. "It's a song that came at the time that I needed to write. That's the end of it."

He also told Howard Stern in September that he already had the "difficult conversation" with his mate and have, once and for all, cleared things up with him without dropping any names.

Have Ed Sheeran and Niall Horan really made up or is tension rising once again especially with Ellie Gouldings alleged lawsuit threat?
