"Frozen 2" has been confirmed by cast member Idina Menzel!
The actress who lent her voice to iconic character Elsa spoke to Telegraph just recently and confirmed the status of the highly anticipated sequel.
"They're all in the works," she said. When asked about her returning to voice Elsa, ""Ah, yeah sure... Not the stage show - I don't know what will happen with that - but the movie hopefully. We'll see. I'm just going along for the ride," she shared.
Meanwhile in an interview with Entertainment Tonight Online, Kristen Bell shared that being cast in "Frozen" was a "dream come true," and that she would love to be part of the movie again.
"Forever!... I would do it forever because I love it," Bell said.
Disney has confirmed that there will be another "Frozen" flick in 2015. "Frozen Fever" will be released next spring, and will have directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck on board again. "Let It Go" composers Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez will reportedly write a new song (another hit perhaps) for the new film.
The new movie will feature a very simple plot involving Anna's birthday. Elsa and Kristoff will be in charge of the whole planning, but the ice queen's powers could cause some troubles.
Meanwhile Hallels reported that Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad will reprise their roles in the planned sequel.
Producer John Lasseter said, "We are bringing back the characters from Frozen. We are doing a short. It will have a new song. Basically, the whole crew is returning. It is absolutely hilarious."
