Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Release Date Expected To Be Announced Friday At The Game Awards 2014; Creative Director Neil Druckman Teases Something Exciting To Unveil In Las Vegas? New Concept Art Relea

Fans expect to get a sneak peak this Friday of Nathan Drake in action, the latest teaser before Uncharted 4: a Thief's End's release date.

An insider hints another sneak peak is in store prior to Uncharted 4: Thief's End's release date, which is slated for a 2015 launch; new concept art for the game has also been released.

News has been scarce regarding the latest installment in the Uncharted franchise; aside from the teaser trailer at June's E3 event and the rumored film adaptation, developer Naughty Dog is mum on the details.

There's news of a new reveal this Friday at The Game Awards 2014, though; Neil Druckman, the Creative Director for the game, hinted at it himself in a tweet.

"Saw a sneak peek of something that's happening at @thegameawards that has me very excited. Can't wait. See you on Friday, Vegas."

The comment does not confirm if it's related to Uncharted 4, but the tweet coming from Druckman raises Uncharted fans' eyebrows just the same.

Marin Sofiedal, the fan who came out with the self-made film for the franchise ("Uncharted Ambushed') did get a privileged first look at development for Uncharted 4, and describes the game "looks photo realistic, graphical leap as PS2 to Pixar movie, never seen anything like it."

Sofiedal was the source of Uncharted 4: a Thief's End news earlier this month, being one of the few who've actually seen the game during development.

"I got to see some pretty raw stuff from the new game, including drawings of planned action sequences and how all the characters look like now with upgraded graphics. It was almost scary to see Sully as an almost living person. I also got to see a few seconds of the opening scene, which is still under development, but already looking incredible.

They showed some tests where Drake was going through a bit of tall grass and how every straw reacted to his movements while also responding to the wind. It was crazy. I've never seen anything like it." (gamepur.com)

Stay tuned for updates on Uncharted 4: a Thief's End release date and game specs, which are expected to be previewed this Friday at Las Vegas.
