Paul Walker's death anniversary spent in touching tributes.
"The Fast and Furious" cast remembered Paul Walker's death anniversary in tribute Sunday, along with friends and family. The actor's dad Paul Walker III, and co-star and close friend Vin Diesel were but a few who honored him in interviews and social media.
Paul Walker III plans to spend the actor's first death anniversary at the latter's grave site, and will bring coins as memento of the game they played in the process of casting calls. Walker III remembers:
"Paul said one time, 'I really don't like this business, but I can do a lot of good with the money I make. Paul just radiated love and you can't fake that. [He] had a really good heart. I thought, 'How did I deserve such a wonderful son?'
I feel his presence every day," Walker III said. "I miss talking to him a great deal. He had a good heart."
Vin Diesel honored Paul Walker's death anniversary with memories of the experience they shared filming "Fast and Furious," both on and off the set.
"After all, we were filming a scene in FF4 the day [Hania] was born, and he being the only one I told, encouraged me to go in and cut the umbilical cord. He was an important part of my transition into fatherhood...that healthy family member, with the most positive outlook on life," Diesel continued, before concluding, "A year ago today...a year of mourning...and his absence still leaves me speechless. We miss you Pablo."
Paul Walker died with Rodger Rodas when the Porsche they were driving crashed into a tree and burst into flames. Diesel who later visited the crash site, saw the mourning fans and addressed them with a loud speaker:
"Thank you for coming down here and showing that angel up in heaven how much you appreciated him."
At the time of Paul Walker's death, the actor was age 40.
