People have been speculating that Spice Girls alum Mel B is lesbian but the "X-Factor" judge says she is "happily married to a penis!" However, she also admitted to experiencing a relationship with the same sex before settling down with her husband, Stephen Belafonte.

In an interview with The Guardian, the 39-year-old singer admitted that she had a "four-year relationship with a woman."

She was also quick to add, "But I've been very happily married for seven years to a penis. Ha ha! An amazing guy."

Although she does insist that she and her husband are quite happy together.

"People call me lesbian, bisexual or heterosexual, but I know who's in my bed and that's it," she said. "I have a huge libido and a great sex life."

Despite rumors of an open relationship between her and Stephen Belafonte she insisted that 'me and my husband are very tight and solid.'

According to The Daily Mail, Belafonte, who is her "long and lasting love" is "spontaneous, supportive and solid."

"So I married myself, basically," she continued to share to The Guardian.

She did admit, however, that she "will be the first one to compliment a woman."

She would be the one to tell her husband "'Oh my God, look at her legs;' or 'Doesn't she look stunning?'"

"I do think women are gorgeous. Crazy but gorgeous," she said.

As for Mel B's lesbian relationship in the past, the mother of three revealed that she dated a woman whose children went to the same Los Angeles school as her eldest daughter, Pheonix Chi (now 15 years old).

The woman was Christa Parker, who (according to the Daily Mail) once claimed that Mel B allegedly saw other men while they were together.

They reportedly ended their relationship when Scary Spice met comedian Eddie Murphy. She had her daughter, Angel, with the funny man.
